The coral city whose basilica has hosted such jazz legends as Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Mingus, Miles Davis, Art Blakey and Keith Jarrett, will also host a number of other music festivals throughout the summer.

The World Music festival which follows the jazz event, will take place between August 16 to 18, and will feature Papa Wemba from the Congo and Takfarinas from Algeria, to name but a few of the top artists.

Simultaneously, the Latinos Festival(August 19 and 20) will bring distinct south American sounds to the festival's public and the Rai festival will close Tabarka's summer festival cycle in style with artists of the calibre of Cheb Tati, Cheb El Hendi and Hakim Salhi.
