Tunisia's National basket ball team prepares for African Cup of Nations in the US
Tunis , June 27, 2007 (TunisiaOnline)--Some 15 players from the Tunisian national basket ball team are currently training in the United States .
The team which has decided not to play the African Games but rather to focus on the African Cup of Nations due to take place in Angola next August, will play against five American University teams as part of its intensive training program in the US .
Its first match will be played against the “Lancaster All Stars”.
Observers note that the team's technical staff which is relying on many young talents, has decided to provide them with the opportunity to play against strong American basket ball teams, so as to improve both their athletic and technical skills.
The training which consists of a match every two days will end on July 5, 2007.
