Tunisia to host 13 th edition of the 2007 Aero Atlantic Rally
Tunis , June 15, 2007 (TunisiaOnline) --The 13 th edition of the 2007 Aero Atlantic Rally will take place for the first time in Tunisia from June 16 to 22, 2007 , it was recently announced.
The Rally which is essentially both a humanitarian and tourist venture, will see the participation of some 50 French businessmen and pilots onboard a fleet of 15 private planes.
Tunisian and French media will follow the race which will take off from Rennes and return to Carpentras after having stopped over in Figari, Tabarka, Tozeur, Monastir , Tunis , and Bastia .
Organizers are hoping for a strong participation from the Tunisian national tourist board, but also from the ministries of tourism, defense and social affairs to ensure the success of this first edition in Tunisia .
