Southern Tunisian City plays host international fair
Tunis , July 10, 2007(TunisiaOnline)--The international fair of Gabes is currently held in the exhibit hall of Gabes, south of Tunisia, and will run until July 24.
Some 208 participants from several serctors such as textile, handicrafts, leather footwear, furniture, leisure, information technology, electronics, food industry, building materials, chemical industry, energy and services will take part to the fair.
The 23rd edition is marked by the participation of entreprises specialised in furniture and textile from Libya, India and Syria.
A Maghrebi seminar on " the Arab Maghreb in front of the challenges of the knowledge society" to which will take part academics and experts from Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco is also part of the event.
Moreover, alongside the fair, there will be a national study day on the theme "Gabes and the projects of the next decade".
