Tunisian President discusses forthcoming international events with new foreign minister

President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali met today with Mr Abdelwahab Abdallah, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
He reviewed with Mr Abdallah the Ministry's scheduled activities for the near future.
President Ben Ali recommended the intensification of the ongoing preparations for future international events and in particular those aimed at laying the ground for the forthcoming Tunis World Summit on the Information Society next November.
Another focus of attention during the meeting was the next ordinary session Council of the League of Arab States to be held on September 8 and 9, 2005, in Cairo, Egypt.
