Prime Minister meets with the Secretary General of
the International Telecommunications Union (ITU)

Mr Mohamed Ghannouchi , Prime Minister, met Thursday in Tunis with Mr Yoshio Utsumi, Secretary General of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).

Following the meeting, Mr Utsumi said that his meeting with the Prime Minister made possible an assessment of the ongoing preparations for the second phase of the Tunis World Summit on the information Society that Tunisia will host on November 16-18, 2005.

The meeting was attended by Mr Abdelbaki Hermassi, Minister of Foreign affairs, Mr Montassar Ouaili, Minister of Communication technologies and Mr Habib Ammar, president of the Tunis WSIS standing organizing committee.
